Connection Strain
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
My goal was to play around with the physics engine a bit in love2d to get a bit familiar with it.
The game is pretty simple concept of connections, capture a bouncing ball before it escapes connect multiple towers together by placing them one at a time till you make them connect.
Connecting at least three or more towers was going to unlock a capture the ball tower you can place and if the ball goes over that tower it would get captured. Once you capture all the balls you win.
I was going to go with many different effects areas onscreen that would speed up/slow down the ball, split into multiples etc. Things like that.
Life has been busy so didn't end up with a completely capturable ball the way I wanted it. Still after jam voting will probably upload some more progress.

I've tried to run the game, but I've got an error message (win64) (I don't seem to be able to paste it here), but it is something like:
nit.lue 207: attemt to call method getBodies (a nil value)
Oh this is unfortunate, I'll see if I can patch that version. Seems like possibly a love compatibility issue.
Update: Ok its the love version, to play please download the love file and run with Love 11.3
