After ludum dare and finishing the majority of work on another project, I started getting back into this game. After this post I'll get some animated gifs up and hopefully make things look a lot better. I updated a couple of the screenshots. Some dev notes:

• Changed background starfield, more definition to the stars which looks and feels better.
• Made the enemies into versions of the current ship, ships are rotatable just not controlled that way, yet (maybe!?)
• I made death dependent on your main weapon being destroyed showing a little flashing GameOver sign before bringing you back to the main menu.

I feel like there isn't enough gameplay yet to release a version. I don't want anyone paying for it and then completely regretting it. But if I start getting a lot of views I may put a version up, we'll see.
